“Virginia Beach is open to good energy, not bad behavior.”

That's Virginia Beach Council Member Worth Remick, who said the initiative was announced Thursday at their resort advisory commission meeting with city staff.

Remick said this campaign is geared toward kids who come to visit Virginia Beach and the Oceanfront unattended.

“There’s no question we felt this was geared towards young folks, both in the positive message but also in the message that we are going to enforce the law,” he explained.
