PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Country music icon Dolly Parton made a special appearance in Panama City Beach on Thursday to help launch the grand opening of her latest attraction: Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show.

“It’s a great place for families to come and visit,” Parton said. “We are excited to come and offer something for families to do together.”

The $60 million entertainment venue offers a themed experience complete with a four-course meal, aerial acrobatics, sea lions, mermaids, and pirate battles.

Tourists say the new show fills a gap for evening entertainment in the area.
