A west coast developer and a local church are teaming up to reimagine the space.
Drever Partners LLC, also known as Drever Capital Management, is awaiting court approval to purchase the property. The company is known for redeveloping broken properties.
"It’s a great location right on I-70. It's such an eyesore. I think it could be one of our most amazing turnarounds ever," said Maxwell Drever, an advisor for Drever Partners.
The space is intended to become at least 250 workforce housing units with a possible community center.
