PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- A man has been charged with the fatal shooting of a 32-year-old man in Suitland, according to the Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD).

Police said James Stewart, 35, has been charged with first-degree murder and related charges in the death of Myandre McBride.

According to police, officers responded at 12:35 p.m. on June 3 to reports of a shooting in the 5600 block of Regency Park Court, where McBride and another man were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police said McBride died at the scene, and the other man was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

After the investigation, detectives identified Stewart as the suspect and determined that the two were involved in an ongoing dispute.
