Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran has been swinging the bat well over the past few weeks, and it could be due to a change in his gameday rituals.
The speedy outfielder has hit .307 over his last 10 games with five doubles and a stolen base after a slow start to the season by his standards. Over those 10 games, he’s hit the ball to the opposite field more often and used his speed to gain extra bases.
Duran was interviewed on MLB Network ahead of the Red Sox series with the New York Yankees in The Bronx on Friday and mentioned a change he’s made in his gameday routine that may be contributing to his improved offense.
