GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — In July 2022, Jeff Quigley said he was hurt on the job at the USPS sorting facility off of Patterson Avenue in Kentwood, near the airport.
"Since September of last year, they've acknowledged that they owe me money, but they haven't been able to write a check," said Quigley. "700 pounds of mail fell off a high low bent me in half, pinned my foot to the floor with my hands under the same bar."
That's when he said he took some time off work to get better, including going to physical therapy.
" I was strained," said Quigley. "A few days later, developed a red lump in the middle of my back, warm, sticking out of, protruding out of my back."
