Lisa Kudrow has her reservations about appearing on season 4 of The White Lotus .

The 61-year-old Friends star sat down with Parker Posey on a recent episode of Variety’s Actors on Actors series. During their conversation, Lisa praised Parker ‘s “complex” character Victoria Ratliff on season three of The White Lotus , and said she “loved” the work of creator Mike White .

Then, Parker suggested that Lisa should have a role on the fourth season of the hit show.

Lisa responded by saying that she “might not be [ Mike 's] cup of tea” due to his tendency to create unpredictable storylines.

“I do get nervous about inhabiting things that are too dark. I try to avoid that,” she explained.
