ROYERSFORD — Lauren Maguire had never led off a game in her four years at West Chester East, but you wouldn’t have known it by the way she set the table Friday.
The senior outfielder has been a force in the heart of the order, usually batting fifth and delivering clutch base knocks all spring. But when leadoff hitter Daria Cross was sidelined with an injury this week, Maguire was asked to fill two big shoes: take over center field and the top of the lineup card.
