MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A jury will soon decide the fate of Demetric Hooper, who is accused of murdering his 14-year-old daughter, Brittany Robinson, in 2012.
During Friday morning testimony, a witness testified that she worked with Brittany Robinson around 2013 and 2014 at a strip club in Birmingham after she was reported missing.
The jury heard testimony from the woman who was a former dancer. The woman said she reached out to police when she saw a photo of Robinson in a missing person's ad in 2017.
Prosecutors tried to discredit the witness with claims of alcohol abuse and mental illness.
The jury will begin deliberations on Monday morning.
