LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Clark County grand jury indicted a man accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend in 2008 and then fleeing to Mexico, the 8 News Now Investigators have learned.

Jonathan Romero, 34, is charged with murder with a deadly weapon, attempted murder with a deadly weapon, and burglary while in possession of a deadly weapon.

The FBI arrested Romero in Mexico, the 8 News Now Investigators first reported. It is unclear when he was taken into custody. He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on May 15, according to jail records.
