WILLARD, Utah (ABC4) — Willard Bay State Park is not only a gateway to the water but also a haven for backyard birdwatchers as well.

Nestled near a migratory bird refuge and just 12 miles from Ogden, Willard Bay State Park has activities for beachgoers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

The park is home to different types of wildlife such as birds and fish, over 20 miles of shoreline and nature trails. It serves as northern Utah's backyard and has been since it became a state park in 1966.
