Protestors gathered at the intersection of Los Osos Valley Road and Calle Joaquin in San Luis Obispo on Friday, the anniversary of D-Day, to demonstrate against what they call the rise of fascism in the U.S.

Organizers say President Donald Trump's government is operating like an oligarchy and that it "threatens the very democracy our veterans fought to protect."

The activists protested for approximately two hours on Friday.
