WENATCHEE, Wash. -- Central Washington attorneys and community members are commissioning a task force to re-evaluate the laws surrounding AMBER Alerts.

On Monday, 9-year-old Paityn Decker, 8-year-old Evelyn Decker, and 5-year-old Olivia Decker were found dead near the Rock Island Campground west of Leavenworth. The girls went missing on Friday following a scheduled visitation with their father.

The father of the three girls, 32-year-old Travis Decker, is currently wanted for their murder and kidnapping.

The girls were first reported missing by their mother on Friday evening, but an AMBER Alert was not issued at that time. Instead, a Missing Persons Alert was issued for the three sisters.
