With heat being the number one weather related killer in the US, it is important to know the first signs of heat-related illnesses such as heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Dr. Siraj Abdullah, with Piedmont Columbus regional says the worst thing you can do is ignore the first signs of heat exhaustion because this will eventually lead to heat stroke, a more serious illness.
