The Texas Rangers had two hits but the Washington Nationals had two runs.
What is there to say? You’ve seen this exact game 50 times already in just a couple of months. Unfortunately, the lack of prowess at the plate ruined a productive evening from tonight’s starter Patrick Corbin.
Coming back to Nationals Park, the maligned in DC lefty ended up throwing a complete game, though of the eight inning variety. Washington didn’t need their final frame because the Rangers outputted just two hits and didn’t really even threaten to score.
My advice: Enjoy the stuff like what Corbin did tonight and ignore the rest. That might be the only way we make it through this summer.
Player of the Game : Corbin allowed two runs in eight innings, needing just 89 pitches. That’s an excellent start. Th
