WPIAL defensive tackle Lincoln Hoke took to his own social media to announce he had committed to the Panthers. About 20 minutes later, another player out of the WPIAL, John Curran III, announced he’d also be playing for Pitt come fall of 2026.
Hoke, a three-star out of North Allegheny High School, chose to stay in the Steel City over offers from West Virginia, Toledo, James Madison, New Mexico, Delaware, Buffalo, Akron, Kent State, Penn, Harvard, Princeton, Cornell and Sacramento State.
