BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WXIX) - A worried mother says ICE officers arrested her 19-year-old son and he’s in the Butler County Jail.

“It’s something that I don’t wish to happen to any mother,” said Ada Bell Baquedano Amador.

Right now there about about 300 ICE holds in jail.

Records show Amador’s son Emerson was booked into the jail around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

She says he was supposed to be going in for an ankle monitor while his case worked through the system.

“So, it happened at the Intensive Supervision Appearance Program (ISAP) office. We went because they sent him a letter saying they were going to put an ankle monitor on him. So we showed up and that’s when they arrested him,” Amador said.
