KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Former Tennessee football quarterback Hendon Hooker returned to Knoxville on Friday to host a youth football camp at Fulton High School for boys and girls Grades 1-8.

The Vol For Life said it was a blessing to be back in a place that offered him so much support during his time on Rocky Top.

"This is home for me—that's really unexplainable," Hooker said. "Just coming back, it always feels like I'm from [Knoxville], so anytime that I'm back, it's always a great feeling."

The camp gave young athletes a chance to learn from the NFL quarterback, who emphasized leadership, discipline and integrity, just as he does on the field. Hooker said having the kids look up to him is the reason he does what he does.
