WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Emergency crews were called after a car crashed into two Woodbridge townhouses Friday morning.
According to the Prince William County Police Department, police were called to the townhouse in the 3400 block of Belfry Lane around 10:30 a.m.
When first responders arrived, they found a driver had crashed into the townhouse, after reportedly damaging another home across the street.
The damage the driver caused to the two homes, trapped two people on the upper floor of the second townhouse. Both were safely evacuated using ladders.
A building official has since determined both townhouses to be unsafe after the crash, displacing eight adults and four children between the two homes.
The driver of the car was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
