PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Firefighters are at the scene of a condo fire in Panama City Beach.
Officials with PCB Fire Rescue said they were called to the Long Beach Resort Tower 3 for a report of a fire on the 5th floor of a condo building Friday afternoon.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found two people inside the condo. Those individuals were rescued, but officials say no injuries were reported.
According to PCB Fire Rescue, firefighters were able to put out the flames within minutes of arriving. But several units are reportedly damaged.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. The State Fire Marshal’s office will be conducting the investigation.
