The San Francisco Parks Alliance has all but vanished, but city legislators plan to force its leaders to appear — and answer questions.

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors was scheduled to examine the San Francisco Parks Alliance on Thursday, just hours after the organization’s rapid downfall reached its nadir. But legislators opted to hold off on holding a full hearing and subpoena officials from the troubled nonprofit to appear at a hearing and turn over a slate of financial documents.
