HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- Davies County EMA Director Andy Ball has resigned from his roll as Daviess County EMA Director.

Daviess County Judge Executive Charlie Castlen tells Eyewitness News he was surprised to learn Ball had turned in his resignation.

"I heard it rumored after the Fiscal Court meeting Thursday night," said Castlen. "This a.m. I was told he had submitted his resignation. I was surprised when I heard the news."

Officials have not yet said why Ball resigned from his roll.
