HUTCHINSON, Kan. (KSNW) — A man was arrested Thursday following a domestic disturbance that led to a serious assault at a Hutchinson apartment complex.

Police were called to the Clusters Apartments at 1401 E. 23rd Avenue on June 5, where they found a man outside an apartment with an injured hand. A second man, who had fled the scene, was located and taken into custody nearby.

Investigators say a physical altercation between the two men led to the injuries. The victim was taken to the hospital and later interviewed by detectives.

The suspect, a 36-year-old Hutchinson resident, was arrested on multiple charges, including attempted second-degree murder, aggravated battery, domestic battery, and criminal restraint.
