The Atlanta Braves have struggled mightily. You will be hard pressed to find someone who disagrees with that. They travel out west to start their series against the Giants in hopes to turn things around.

Spencer Schwellenabach has been on fire lately, leading the NL in strikeout to walk ratio. If he can keep up his excellent production, the Braves may have a shot to pull out a win. The offense showed some signs of hope yesterday, but they will be facing Hayden Birdsong who has been excellent at preventing runs with a 2.37 ERA and as a starter has limited walks to an insanely low 3.3 percent rate.
