Novak Djokovic is one of the greatest athletes of all time, but even he can't defeat Father Time.

The 38-year-old had a great run at Roland-Garros, reaching the semifinals where he fell to World No. 1 Jannik Sinner.

The deep run at the French Open was a promising sign for the legend, but he still fell short of a record-setting 25th Grand Slam.

After the match Djokovic shared an update on where he stands on retirement at this late stage of his career.

"This could have been the last match I ever play here," the three-time French Open champion shared.

"I don't know right now. 12 months at this point in my career is quite a long time. Do I wish to play more? Yes I do. But will I be able to play in 12 months time here again? I don't know," he added.
