SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - “Downtown Live” kicked off the summer season Friday night in Downtown Sioux City.
A crowd of people gathered on Historic 4th Street to listen to live music.
“Mississippi Heat” was the first band to perform in this summer’s line-up.
The band has been together for more than 30 years and say this isn’t the first time they’ve made a stop in Sioux City.
Friday night’s live music brought friends and family out to spend time together enjoying the sights, sounds and some nice weather.
“It’s a soul thing. So, if the audience response and kind of like what they’re hearing, it makes our day really. It’s a relationship between the audience and us,“ said ”Mississippi Heat" band leader, Pierre Lacocque.
