Pearl is finally going to be a star! At least in a galaxy far, far away. Mia Goth is playing the villain against Ryan Gosling in the upcoming Star Wars standalone sequel from Shawn Levy. Titled Star Wars: Starfighter , the film will come out May 28, 2027, and starts production later this year. “The reality is that this script is just so good. It has such a great story with great and original characters,” Gosling said during the original announcement at the Star Wars Celebration in April. “It’s filled with so much heart and adventure, and there just really is not a more perfect filmmaker for this particular story than Shawn.” And who better to join the Star Wars universe than Goth, someone with a voice that’s out of this world.
