SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - One local roller-skating rink in Sioux City was supposed to close for the season in May, but by popular demand, they’ve decided to hold a few more skates.

Friday night, the Rollerama held another skate night, even though they were planning on closing for the season on May 17.

Dozens of people filled up the rink, having a blast skating around with their friends.

The Rollerama is a family-owned roller-skating rink that’s been open since 1966. The building does not have air conditioning, which causes the business to close every summer due to the hot temperatures.

The rink was supposed to close for the season a few weeks ago, but they decided to open it up for a few more Friday night skating.
