BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Heat will be our primary concern through the weekend, with a quick transition to a stormy pattern becoming the focus for next week.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK

Very muggy mornings will give way to hot and humid afternoons with highs in the low to mid-90s. Heat index values could peak near 105° on both days. Rain chances climb a bit higher by Sunday afternoon/evening.

LSU SUPER REGIONAL

Make sure you stay hydrated if headed to the Super Regional this weekend. Otherwise, rain chances will be limited for Saturday’s game, but we may have to keep a closer eye on radar for Sunday’s game.
