SAN ANTONIO - The family of an 18-year-old found dead in Woodlawn Lake believes foul play was involved.

"What they did to me, my family, and his dad, his mom, they don't know the pain that they're causing," the teen's grandmother said. "They took my grandson."

They're pleading with the public for help to find out what led to his death.

When Macias's body was pulled from Woodlawn Lake, police didn't have many details.

His family said that it hasn't changed almost a week later.

"Lord, why? Why did this happen to him?" Nancy Trejo said tearfully. "I pray every day, you know, for my family, and when they told me he was dead, I was like, why?"

Trejo and Joe Artiaga are George's grandparents, saying the 18-year-old was just a few credits shy of graduating from high school.
