BILLINGS, Mont. – Construction on the Zoo Drive improvement project is set to begin this upcoming Monday, June 9.
City of Billings Public Works along with the Montana Department of Transportation stated that the project will include underground electrical work and roadway widening at the I-90 eastbound ramps intersecting Zoo Drive.
Travelers should be aware of several advisories. The sidewalk along the north side of Zoo Drive will be closed throughout the project. While the I-90 eastbound ramps will remain open, traffic may shift onto the shoulder to accommodate construction, and reduced speeds are expected.
MDT advises drivers to be cautious and watch for workers near the roadway. MDT estimates the project should be complete sometime in the fall of 2025. For more information on t
