Two Solon Springs/Northwood school records have already gone by the boards after the first day of competition in the Wisconsin state track and field meet on Friday in La Crosse.
Minnesota Duluth commit Isaac Dickenson moved up one place from 2024, finishing fifth in the Division 3 1,600-meter run in a time of 4 minutes, 23.3 seconds. Taylor Karcz of Crandon was the clear victor in 4:15.78.
Dickenson, who is competing in both distance events at state for the third-straight season, is running the 3,200 on Saturday.
Sophomore Jake Taggart put two points on the board for SS/N with a seventh-place finish in the 800 in 1:56.93, still a school record.
Cade Lisson, a UMD commit, made his fourth trip to the state meet count, running a 50.13 in his heat to advance as the No. 8 qualifier for Satu
