WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- A 14-year-old boy was arrested in connection with a Northeast D.C. shooting that occurred on May 9, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Police say officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly after 4 p.m. in the 4100 block of Minnesota Avenue, NE, where officers found a Metrobus damaged from gunfire.

According to police, no one was hurt in the shooting, and the suspect fled the scene.

Officers later identified a 14-year-old boy as the suspect and charged him with assault with a dangerous weapon.
