CARROLL COUNTY, Ky. —
Kentucky State Police is investigating a shooting involving an off-duty sheriff's deputy in Carroll County.
Police say the deputy found a suspicious car parked on private property Thursday morning.
After a brief interaction, police claim the driver accelerated toward the officer, which is when the officer shot at the car.
The driver was able to get away, but police found the car crashed in a wooded area.
The two people in the car were later found and arrested.
Charges are now pending against Clinton Meadows and Holly Price.
