HOUSTON — An SUV crashed into a pool in Houston's southwest side Friday evening, and one person was detained at the scene, according to the Houston Police Department.

The incident occurred south of Anderson Road near Hiram Clarke Road. The emergency call dropped at 8:01 p.m. It appears the Nissan Rogue smashed through a brick wall before plunging into the pool.

Video provided to KHOU 11 News from the scene of the crash showed a crowded pool deck. It was not clear if anyone was hurt.

Police have not released information about the driver, or whether anyone sustained injuries in the crash.
