HARTFORD, Conn. — On Friday and Saturday, spices and sweets are the centerpiece on Pratt and Trumbull streets in Hartford .
The annual " Hartford Taste " street festival has kicked off. The two-day event brings food, art and music to the center of the city to help make a difference. Day 2will start Saturday at noon.
“It’s just nice to see people out in downtown Hartford,” said Courtney Hackman, who lives downtown.

Now, the festival is back for its fourth year, highlighting more than 30 local restaurants and vendors who launched new flavors or specials to celebrate like Emery’s Sweets.
