KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Hendon Hooker has hosted several camps in Knoxville over the last few years. Fittingly, as Rocky Top was home to Hooker for two seasons. A few years later, it's still home sweet home when the VFL returns.

"It always just feels like home every time I come back to Knoxville, everyone in the community embraces me like one of their own and I can't thank them for more than that," Hooker said.

While Hooker is now a backup quarterback for the Detroit Lions, hosting camps like these reminds him what the sport is all about.
