BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - When you drive around the Brazos Valley, so much of what you see on the roadways has been engineered and studied by the Texas A&M Transportation Institute

From the signs, the lines and the guardrails, decades worth of research has gone into making Texas transportation efficient and safe.

The incoming Chancellor of Texas A&M, Glenn Hegar, expressed just how effective the T.T.I. has been at expanding the state’s growth and economy.

“T.T.I. today is celebrating 75 years of impact not just in safety but also moving goods, moving products and making an economic impact in the lives of Texans and the nation for 75 years,” Hegar said.
