Technology once used to scan for bombs and contraband is now helping Austin drivers get a fast and transparent look at their car's health. An Austin car dealership is one of the first in the area to adopt a high-tech, drive-thru system that uses cameras and artificial intelligence to spot problems in seconds.

At Austin Infiniti, customers pulling into the service bay drive through what looks like a futuristic car wash. This is UVEYE, an AI-powered inspection system that acts like an MRI for your vehicle.

"It does a full 360-camera view," explains Shelley Willis, a UVEYE Area Sales Manager. "This does the tires and wheels, and this right here scans the underbody."
