Colorado attorney general candidate Hetal Doshi raised more than $265,000 in the 24 hours after the Democrat launched her campaign on Thursday, the first-time candidate's campaign told Colorado Politics, setting a new record for the most money raised by a state-level candidate in a single day.

Doshi, a first-generation Indian American and the former top anti-trust litigator at the U.S. Department of Justice, surpassed recently set high-dollar marks set by two of her primary opponents, Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold and nationally prominent consumer rights attorney David Seligman, in their first days as candidates.
