ANN ARBOR, MI -- After falling behind early in the first period, Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice managed to make a comeback to beat Detroit Catholic Central in overtime, 9-8.
Detroit Catholic Central got off to a hot start, dominating the first period 3-0. Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice came back in the second period with a series of unanswered goals to tie the game.
Both teams traded blows for the remainder of the game to eventually bring the game to overtime. Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice was then able to quickly score to win the state championship.
