PADUCAH, Ky. (WBKO) - On April 15, a federal grand jury in Paducah returned an indictment, charging a Fort Campbell soldier with enticement and sexual exploitation of a minor.

According to the indictment, 23-year-old Cameron Lawrence was charged with:

One count of enticement of a minor

Two counts of attempted enticement of a minor

Two counts of sexual exploitation of children.

Lawrence made his initial court appearance before a U.S. Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky on June 3. The court ordered that he be detained pending trial.

If convicted, Lawrence faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years and a maximum sentence of life in prison. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the sentencing guidelin
