Construction begins on $13M wastewater project in Kendall

KENDALL — Construction has begun on a $13 million wastewater collection and treatment improvement project, state officials announced Thursday.

The funding is through New York State’s Resiliency and Economic Development Initiative. It’s expected the project will help prevent damage during future high-water events by preventing sewage and other contaminants from affecting Lake Ontario’s water quality.
