Woman identified as body found in New Florence.

New Florence Police and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office have identified the body discovered in a vacant building in New Florence as that of a 37-year-old woman who had previously been reported missing from El Paso, Texas, on February 5, 2025.

On Tuesday evening, deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the New Florence Police Department in the 400 block of Booneslick Road after two individuals reported finding a deceased person inside the building.

The cause of death has not yet been determined, and the investigation remains ongoing, according to the sheriff’s office.
