WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — The Wilkes-Barre Cavalcade of Jazz kicked off this evening with tonight's headliner, Cindy Bradley , performing at the River Street Jazz Cafe.

Owner Robert Friedman has was particularly excited to host Cindy at his cafe. "I'm a huge fan of contemporary and smooth jazz, so it's a great honor for me to have Cindy Bradley here tonight for sure. I've listened to her since 2008 and I'm one of her biggest fans," he beamed right before the show started. Friedman has been in business for more than 30 years, and also welcomes other genres of music in his cafe.

Cindy Bradley's characteristic heart-shaped, hot pink trumpet lit up the night, and patrons enjoyed contemporary jazz at several other venues across the Diamond City.
