Sierra View launches effort to improve Emergency Department

Sierra View Medical Center is implementing a series of strategic improvements to its Emergency Department designed to enhance functionality, increase efficiency, and improve the overall experience for patients and their families, the hospital stated.

“ These efforts reflect SVMC’s continued commitment to high quality, patient-centered care,” the hospital said.

Launched in May, the improvement initiative is being guided by an interdisciplinary team and overseen by a committee appointed by the Sierra View Local Healthcare District Board. Board Members Gaurang Pandya, MD and Areli Martinez are supporting the initiative, which includes collaboration across departments to address access, care flow, and patient satisfaction.
