A traffic accident involving a Bakersfield police officer occurred at the intersection of H Street and Truxtun Avenue at 8:22 p.m. on June 6, 2025. The collision involved a patrol car and another vehicle.

Bakersfield Police say the passenger of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital following a "complaint of pain."
