An Enumclaw man allegedly broke into a home, tied up the 23-year-old resident with duct tape and left him there to asphyxiate in March, according to new charges.
Prosecutors charged Huy Huu Nguyen, 56, with first-degree murder, first-degree burglary and first-degree trafficking in stolen property Friday.
Axel Enrique Chirinos-Banegas, 23, was killed in his Renton apartment in March. Nguyen allegedly forced his way into the man’s home before tying him up and putting duct tape over his mouth and nose, leaving him face down on the kitchen floor, according to the court documents. Chirinos-Banegas died of asphyxiation, and he had multiple blunt force injuries, according to the probable cause documents.
