MASON CITY, Iowa - A big law enforcement response to a gun store burglary has led to charges against four suspects.

The Mason City Police Department says it responded to a burglar alarm at Hart Brothers Weaponry at 1:24 am. Officers say they got to the store to find the front door open and a smashed display case inside that was missing several weapons.

Investigators obtained search warrants for four Mason City homes and two vehicles. Searchers found seven handguns, six of which were identified as stolen from Hart Brothers.

Charges have been filed against:

• LaDanian Pannhoff, age 18, Mason City

o Theft 4th Degree

o Trafficking Stolen Weapons, first offense

• Parker Thompson, age 19, Mason City

o Conspiracy to Commit Nonforcible Felony

o Trafficking Stolen Weapons, first offense
