A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Saturday at 2:07 a.m. for dense fog until 7 a.m. for Clinton, St. Lawrence, Franklin and Essex counties.

"Areas of very low visibility can be expected due to dense fog that has developed. Conditions should begin to improve after sunrise. Motorists are urged to use caution and allow extra time to reach their destination," says the weather service.
